Dr. Ph. Martin's Liquid Hydrus Fine Art Watercolor, available in 1/2 oz, 1 oz and 8 oz bottles: Evolving from decades of research and development, Hydrus delivers the same brilliance and permanency of traditional watercolor that one finds in a tube. Hydrus is a fine art, lightfast, transparent watercolor at its best in a bottle!

This liquid product delivers the same brilliance and permanency of traditional watercolor that one finds in a tube. Watercolorists can be confident because Hydrus is made from the finest artist pigments (I.e., quinacridone, phthalocine). They also enjoy the freedom of blending and intermixing while maintaining the transparency and luminosity of the color.

Sets come in a tray that doubles as a mixing palette and bottle holder. There’s space for a water cup and 12 individual mixing wells. Bottles stand or lay down to make transporting easy. Hydrus can even be used for technical pen, calligraphy fountain pen and airbrush work where transparency of pigment is desired. And, titanium white can be intermixed with colors to achieve an opaque gouache watercolor and beautiful pastel shades.
